Tyler Dale got his start on American Restoration on the History Channel on October 25, 2010. He is best known for his bicolor blond/brown hair and his fierce demonstration of skill in the shop from management to hands on practice.
From that time on, he has gained numerous skills and experiences including:
- Mig welding
- Tig welding
- Water jet operating
- Metal finishing
- Sand blasting
- Tear down/disassembly of machines
- Plasma cutting
Tyler’s favorite restoration project was the Rumerator designed for Sammy Hagar. Other projects he enjoyed included a 50’s soda fountain, a rocket slide, and a 1962 mini Corvette.
When he is not working on restorations, Tyler also does metal fabrication. He loves to “make something from nothing.” Creating and designing is his forte.
Tyler’s hobbies include skate boarding, air bagging trucks, and drinking Arizona tea. He is also a coffee connoisseur.
Tyler collects G-shock watches. He has 25 of them in multiple colors and styles and they have become a trademark of photos with fans.
In his free time, Tyler also does extensive volunteer work with Camp PossAbility and with Vegas Shepherd Rescue.
Camp PossAbility is an adapted one week summer camp in Indiana for young adults ages 18 to 35 with physical disabilities who have a typical high school diploma.
His experience with the camp includes:
- Representing the camp at events
- Working as a volunteer staff member
- Assisting at the camp’s fundraising events
- Engaging in media interviews
- Participating in public speaking engagements for the camp
Vegas Shepherd Rescue is a strictly German Shepherd rescue. They get the dogs from kill shelters, prepare them for family living, and get them adopted into forever homes.
Tyler’s experience with the shelter includes:
- Participating in red carpet events
- Performing in celebrity poker, bowling, and fantasy football events
- Representing the shelter in news interviews
His own dog Ranger is adopted from the shelter.
Tyler is available for speaking engagements as well as public appearances with photo opportunities and autograph signings.
He is willing to discuss topics such as his restoration work, his job skills, and his volunteer work.
